Description
Grown in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, just south of Benalla in Central Victoria. San Pietro Shiraz is fermented in open vats, hand plunged, pumped over and then matured in selected mixed forest oak. The wine has a generous nose of chocolate, plum and spice. The front and mid palates are full, driven by complex fruit and subtle oak. The finish is structured around delicate tannins. It is soft and long with the promise of creaminess with age.
